Audio Book Material Semester 2 23-24
In the second semester of this annual course we will be concentrating on using the phonemes that you studied in Semester I. You will need:

1. Welcome
1. Listen to the recording of the Welcome message. Pause and repeat parts of the sentences, paying attention to both word stress and sentence stress and also my use of intonation. Consider the speed of my delivery and the way I pause at certain moments in the text. Reflect on voice control and volume. It should already be clear to you that even with a brief spoken text of this type there is a LOT to explore.
2. When you have practised individual sections of the text several times, play the whole recording again and read the text along with me.
